Hong Kong- Canon has adopted a customer relations marketing strategy, building an interactive platform called Club Canon to connect with users.
From photography to an online social community, Canon is encouraging viewers to share pictures and journals in the blog. The group has appointed OneXeno to handle creative service of eDM (email direct marketing) for Club Canon, where members can write blogs about Canon.
The Club sends out monthly e-newsletters to keep users updated about promotions, and posts digital imaging knowledge and technical recommendation about new products.
Yoyo Ng, business director of OneXeno, said the e-newsletter provides a strong platform for Canon to communicate with its customers, with Canon professionals giving advice and answering questions.
