Zenith boosts China team with new hires

Shanghai - Zenith Media China has appointed Alan Yau as managing director to replace Stewart Li, who will be leaving for a senior management role at a local media vendor.

In his new role, Yau will be tasked to service key clients and help further develop the Zenith network of regional offices as well as grow new business in Tier 2 and 3 cities. He reports directly to Malcom Hanlon, CEO for Zenith Media China. 

Yau has returned to Zenith Media after spending ten years and risen up the ranks from media executive to general manager before departing last year to gain experience at Touch Media and most recently as general manager at Shanda, an online gaming company.

Additionally, Eric Feng, former media director at Kraft has joined Equinox Media as business director. He will oversee a number of key clients such as Budweiser, Wyeth and Intercontinental Hotels.

He reports directly into Wee Ching Ian, managing director for Equinox.

According to R3's 2008 China Agency Image Study, Zenith Media is ranked second in the list of media agencies with the best reputation in the China market.
