Marketing magazine Hong Kong has received its first Audit Bureau of Circulations official certificate revealing an audited circulation of 9,617 for the January to June 2008 period and securing Marketing magazine's dominant position as the highest circulating magazine for marketing, advertising and media professionals across Asia.
Marketing now enjoys a combined circulation of 19,061 across the Singapore and Hong Kong editions, creating a substantially higher circulation and readership universe than any of the magazine's competitors in any of the markets it operates in.
"This is an excellent result for whole Marketing magazine group and attests to the strong growth imperative we have been pushing for the title throughout the region and the success the team in Hong Kong has had in connecting with the market there," Marketing magazine editorial director Tony Kelly said today.
"While we have long been the market leader in Singapore, we knew we were in for a tough fight in Hong Kong where there is a strong incumbent competitor, but our audit figure now establishes that the industry turns to Marketing for its news, commentary, analysis and strategic intelligence first.
"This bodes very well for our push into Malaysia in November and our aggressive growth plans for Marketing magazine and marketing-interactive.com which currently tracks at an average of 4,500 unique visitors each day."
Kelly said Marketing magazine Malaysia will launch in November this year.
