Global - Retired Dell supply chain and CPO Martin J Garvin has moved to join Boston-Power's board of directors.
Garvin spent 11 years at Dell, retiring in May earlier this year.
"Martin is recognised as a trendsetter in supply chain, procurement and customer experience - with unparalleled knowledge of the notebook computer marketplace," said Boston-Power founder and CEO Dr Christina Lampe-Onnerud.
Replacing Garvin at Dell is Kevin Brown, a Dell spokesperson told ProcurementAsia.
The company last year announced plans to axe 8,800 jobs, or 10% of its workforce as part of efforts to reduce approximately US$3 billion to US$4 billion in costs over the next several years.
