ESS promotes Kerr

Singapore - ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) has appointed Mike Kerr as VP of SE Asia for affiliate and multimedia sales. He was previously in the advertising sales department as VP of advertising sales, operations and strategy for eight years.

Kerr will remain based in Singapore and will report to Adam Zecha, SVP for affiliate and multimedia sales, and will be tasked to expand the company's portfolio in regional key markets as well as strengthen its relationships with platform operators in the region.

Prior to his current role and position, Kerr was leading the advertising sales and sponsorship planning department and strategy across 17 networks. He had direct responsibility for advertising sales, client service and sales operations departments in Hong Kong, Japan and Korea.

Kerr was based in Hong Kong from 2000-2004 as senior manager of integrated and advertising sales, where he was tasked to develop and manage value-driven sponsorship and advertising campaigns for N Asian-based clients.
