Singapore - The Ministry of Health (MOH) has appointed DDB as agency of record to handle all marketing and advertising communication for its Human Organ Transplant Act (HOTA) campaign.

"This is a challenging agenda in which our country is coming to terms with the issues of organ donation. DDB has grown in strength and experience in social marketing, so we are pleased to be contributing our insights and expertise to help the MOH on this agenda."

DDB won the pitch in the final round of the tender, with a fully integrated marketing plan which involves mass publicity, online engagement and signposting a social movement. This is the first integrated approach adopted by the MOH to communicate the acceptance of organ donation.

The campaign developed by DDB will lend a humane and social appeal to the legislative effect of HOTA. Tribal DDB will support the campaign and first pieces of work will appear  end of 2008.

PHD has been appointed to manage media planning and buying.
