SingaporeCreates on SMRT
Published: Aug 06, 2008
Singapore - SMRT, with the help of the Ministry of Education (MOE), has launched a campaign for "SingaporeCreates", a project organised by the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA) which presents artwork selected from students' submissions earlier in the year.
The campaign features the shortlisted works on trains, train stations, and buses. SMRT Media's senior graphics designer Jeffrey Lim designed a logo for the campaign, which runs through to September.
"The aim of 'SingaporeCreates' is to provoke students to think about their Singapore identity and to express this through an artistic medium," Tan Wai Lan, deputy director of planning and national education, Planning Division at MOE, said.
