HSBC Insurance extends green image

Hong Kong - HSBC Insurance is continuing to promote its environmentally friendly image, launching a range of OOH and MTR station campaigns for its commercial insurance and business units.

JWT, which holds the global HSBC account, developed the creative, with media duties managed by MindShare.

HSBC's insurance division has adopted the symbol of "[ ]" in red to represent the meaning of its green promotion campaign and the green value of the brand.

HSBC said the images within the brackets capture individuals' emotions and lifestyles, carrying the campaign message "Security" in promoting its commercial insurance for the business sector.

In July, the insurance arm of HSBC joined hands with the HKSAR government to become partner of the "Green Hong Kong Carbon Audit" campaign initiated by the Environmental Protection Department. It has also committed to reduce greenhouse emission to help improve air quality in Hong Kong.

"After being rebranded last year, HSBC Insurance strives to build a fresh image around the globe," David Fried, chairman and CEO of HSBC Insurance Asia Pacific, said.

"Through creative ad ideas and concepts, this new promotion campaign aims to deliver the brand's service promise and mission to our customers."
