Samsung launches Olympic sports channel

Hong Kong - Samsung Anycall has partnered with OOH outfit JM Network to launch the Samsung Olympic sports channel at commonspace located in Causeway Bay.

Samsung has decided to take advantage of the interactive pop up store that commonspace offers to maximise its audience reach with a special focus on the Olympic theme.

An official inauguration ceremony to launch the Samsung Anycall Olympic sports channel was attended by Timothy Fok, president of the Sports Federation and Olympic committee of Hong Kong and China and Carrie Yau, Permanent Secretary for Home Affairs.

Apart from featuring the latest Olympic news at commonspace that would include live broadcast of selected Olympic competitions and the opening and closing ceremony on two mega LED TVs, the latest Olympic-themed TVC for Samsung Touchwiz F488 is also screened.

There will also be a shop front on the ground level featuring various Olympic related activities from interactive touch screen games, Olympic content downloads via bluetooth, a torch relay photo corner and meet and greet Fuwaa sessions on the weekends.
