Singapore - WPP agency network Bates 141 has officially confirmed the acquisition of creative shop 10AM Communications.

10AM founder Lim Sau Hoong and her team will now report to Bates 141 chairman Jeffrey Yu. 10AM and Bates have already pitched together for a number of accounts this year, including the Sony account which they won.

"There is a strategic and cultural fit between 10AM and Bates 141. With an extensive network coverage across Asia, Bates 141 can add muscle to 10AM's growth and provide the network strength for our clients seeking regional coverage," said 10AM's Lim, who is also MD and ECD.

Established seven years ago, 10AM has infiltrated the Greater China markets through its work on the well-awarded Bank of China campaign as well as TV network CCTV's corporate campaign, the tagline of which was voted the most memorable slogan in China.

Lim was isolated by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and Dr. Lee Boon as a role model for Sino-Singaporean ties and was conferred the title of Patron of the Arts locally. She has won the President's Design Award, which led to her involvement in discussions with government organisations on arts and creative thinking.
