Singapore - Sony has launched an online campaign created by Qais Consulting for its latest high-definition (HD) video camcorder, the TG-1 HD Handycam.
The campaign, "HD Absolutely Anywhere" is created for the Asian market. It features Google maps and is targeted at gadget-savvy travelers who want to capture their experiences on the move in HD.
"HD Anywhere was an obvious proposition for a product of its size and durability but we needed more character to drive the message home. The Google Maps mash-up focuses on the idea of taking the TG-1 anywhere they travel," Joe Zandstra, VP strategy and ECD at Qais said.
Qais also drove Sony's adoption of Google Gadget ad, for Asia, as part of HD campaign worldwide, last year.
