Friday: External sourcing manager – GSEA (Contract Manufacturing)

Role description:
This position is the principal support to the Manager MBD & EM GSEA in delivering optimum external product sourcing solutions to the Greater Southeast Asia (GSEA) Business Unit (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India and Singapore). It will continue to enable improved speed-to-market by providing effective and efficient external sourcing solutions and thereby facilitate the simplification and optimization of their own plants, which together will lower overall conversion cost and COGS for the BU and assist in delivering the key strategic driver of gross margin improvement.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment in operations, engineering, production, procurement or logistics roles. Work in a food industry will be of added advantage. University graduate qualification in Engineering or Food Technology or other relevant discipline. Fundamental know how and experience in food manufacturing processes and project management (including capital projects). Good knowledge of EM food provider in GSEA.
