Xilinx appoints VP of sales

Singapore - Xilinx has appointed Fai Yeung as VP of sales to lead its extensive network of marketing and sales personnel for the APAC region.

Yeung will report to senior vice president of worldwide sales, Frank Tornaghi.

"Fai's solid track record in sales and marketing with leading semiconductor companies in highly-competitive consumer electronics markets - coupled with his skill in building strategic partnerships with key customers - provide him with an ideal skill set for leading the Asia Pacific sales organization," said Tornaghi.

He was most recently senior marketing director for China sales at Cypress Semiconductor Corp. Prior to that, Yeung served as director of Asia automotive marketing at Freescale Semiconductor.
