P&G names Stengel's successor

Singapore - P&G president for strategy, productivity and growth, Marc Pritchard will take on the role as global marketing officer on 1 August following James Stengel's retirement.
Pritchard has worked with Stengel for the past two years to help strengthen P&G's brand-building capabilities. Stengel has been with the FMCG company for 25 years.
"Stengel has reinvigorated P&G's marketing function and strengthened P&G's capability. He has also helped change the way we market our brands by challenging traditional marketing models and setting new standards for marketing rooted in deep consumer understanding," P&G's chairman of the board and chief executive officer, A.G. Lafley, said.
