C4I seal Asia-wide deals

Asia - AETN All Asia Networks, the Asian Food Channel and Fox International Channel's have all inked deals with C4I to bring programmes like Peep Show, The Girl In A Box, and Hugh's Chicken Run to its Asian territories.

FX has acquired series one to five of critically acclaimed situation comedy, Peep Show, while AETN All Asia Networks signed for a package of true life stories (The Girl In A Box, and The Fake Trade) to be broadcast on its Crime & Investigation Network. The Asian Food Channel also bought a package of titles including Hugh's Chicken Run which features British celebrity chef, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.

Operators such as Astro in Malaysia, EBS in South Korea, Public TV Service Foundation in Taiwan, and True Visions in Thailand have also picked up programmes.

"This is a substantial number of acquisitions, for both new and catalogue C4i titles and with new and existing clients. The volume of hours acquired and the variety of titles is an indication of the ongoing international appeal of our programming," Nicola Richards, programme sales executive, said.
