Home Essentials offers budget furniture

Hong Kong - Furniture rental company Home Essentials has launched a website developed by Fluid Design + Marketing, targeting expatriates furnishing their apartments on a budget. The site lists quotes for long- and short-term rental and lease of furniture at competitive rates.

Fluid Design said it used AJAX and web 2.0 technologies to create an interactive user interface for the new website.

Bobby Wong, MD of Home Essentials, said despite a young furniture rental market, the group is determined to give consumers value by leasing cheap new furniture with zero interest.

Apart from the revamped website, Home Essentials is also advertising in print, in HK Magazine, Dollar Saver and the Standard. Wang also said the group will increase its visibility through Google Search.
