Singapore - Australia's leading mobile technology service provider specialising in Bluetooth proximity marketing Aura Interactive has launched a Singapore office which is being led by Michel Oosterhof.
The company's CEO Adam Dunne confirmed the news and told Marketing he is also looking to expand the business further into Asia with Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Middle East seen as likely markets. "It's the right time and consumers are ready for this," he said. "It has really been in the past two to three years where the market has matured, and the consumers have matured in what they want to use their mobile phones for."
The Sydney-based company, was founded in 2002, provides both live Bluetooth networks and fixed content solutions, portable access control systems and secure redemption platforms. Oosterhof says phase one of the Singapore business offering will look to have 200 locations secured by the end of this year. He hopes to grow this number to 500 in two years.
Aura is looking to recruit around 20 new staff for its Singapore office in the coming months.
