Intel expands on Yahoo Advantage

Regional - Yahoo SE Asia will partner with Intel Semiconductor Vietnam to work with licensed third parties in Vietnam, in building the Yahoo Advantage internet shop network.
Yahoo, Intel and the third parties will now jointly develop an internet shop network in Vietnam which offers business growth opportunities for online shops and gives local consumers access to Yahoo's services as well as Intel's technological products.
"Internet shops are a critical on-ramp for users to access the utility which the internet offers, and we are taking a partnership approach to grow the ICT ecosystem to provide a win-win benefit which will ultimately benefit people and businesses in the country," Vu Minh Tri, chief representative of the representative office of Yahoo SE Asia in Vietnam, said.
The collaboration is an expansion of the Yahoo Advantage internet shop program which originally launched in Vietnam in 2007. According to the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam is forecasted to double internet penetration rates in the country to 35% by 2010.
