Hong Kong - Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and Visa have joined hands to promote the Olympics, setting up promotional booths at the HKIA to allow travellers to experience a variety of Olympic electronic products and enjoy a live broadcast of the Games.
The booths feature Liu Xiang and Yao Ming at the "Interactive Sports Arena" in Terminal Two.
Major electronics and technology brands like Lenovo, Panasonic, Kodak, Free Olympics Fuwa Border Prints and Equestrian Informative Panels are also involved in the joint promotion.
"We are seeing that borne out in the high level of interest in the Games, and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in particular. We can expect a strong level of support and interest from Hong Kong as the Games draw closer," James Dixon, country manager Hong Kong and Macau of VISA International, said.
Visa cardholders will receive free gifts and travel rewards if their spending reaches specific amounts.
The promotion handled by Ketchum PR will run until 31 August.
