Hong Kong - "Kung Fu Panda" has inspired McDonld's Hong Kong to promote its latest products Mega McPepper and Black Sesame Sundae, with the tag line "A taste that you can fight for."
The group has signed a deal with the U.S.-based DreamWorks Animation to use "Kung Fu Panda" in a new McDonald's TVC as well as print and online ads, according to DDB, which is McDonald's agency in Hong Kong. OMD is the media agency for the campaign, which will run until the last week of July.
Online games featuring Kung Fu Panda is also available on the McDonald's Hong Kong official website, allowing online viewers to challenge the panda.
DDB said panda can best depict the new product because it is in black and white colors.
