Hong Kong - CSL has announced strategic partnerships with Yahoo and Microsoft and has launched a new product to enrich mobile users' internet experience as mobility now means more than making phone calls on the go.
Microsoft has directly pushed its Outlook application through CSL, offering a mobile email solution for corporate customers and enterprises. Meanwhile, services like Yahoo Mobile Auctions and Yahoo oneSearch allow users to check the status of theirĀ online bids and find information while on the move.
Christina Teo, chief marketing officer of CSL, said while SMS has long been a preferred communication method among mobile phone users, today short messaging is progressively being integrated into corporate communication solutions. "CSL and Yahoo are delivering a world-class internet search experience for consumers on mobile while providing both companies with new revenue streams through mobile advertising," she said.
In addition, CSL 1O1O and Motorola are using celebrity endorsement to promoteĀ the handcrafted diamond Bluetooth headset.
