Singapore - FIFA has made ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) the exclusive television broadcaster for a line-up of international football events including the 2010 FIFA World Cup for the Indian subcontinent.
The contract will also enable ESS to bring other premier FIFA World Cup events such as Futsal and Beach Soccer to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan and Nepal. ESS has also won exclusive broadcast rights for the 2012 UEFA Euro, Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and the Spanish Primera Liga for the Indian subcontinent.
