Singapore - Euro RSCG's George Gallate who was recently promoted to global chairman of Euro RSCG 4D, has named Olivier Pluquet as his successor for the remaining portfolio he previously held, as Matt Atkinson takes on the vacated role of global CEO for Euro RSCG 4D.
On 12 May, Marketing previously reported Gallate had handed one of the two roles he was in charge with -- Euro RSCG's CEO for APAC, India and Middle East -- to Pluquet.
Atkinson will be based in the UK,. He was previously CEO of EHS Brann, part of the Euro RSCG Digital network since 2004. He was also the MD of Tequila, UK and had worked with various agencies like Y&R, Grey and several Interpublic Group agencies -- handling clients such as American Express, IDV (now Diageo), Nike, Canon, Citibank and Toyota. In a client capacity, he was working at Procter and Gamble in its health and beauty care division.
Pluquet will be stationed in Hong Kong instead of Shanghai, where Gallate was previously based. They are both currently in Asia during the transition period, which will last several months.
