First job ever? 

After the HKCEE examination, I had my first summer job being an administration assistant in a hi-tech company. 

First job in marketing? 

My first marketing job was being a marketing communication coordinator in a semiconductor company. 

Best job you've ever worked in and why? 

I enjoy working in Ocean Park as my job is to promote playful attractions.  It allows me to be creative and fun in building excitement in the market. 

Perks of your current job? 

It's the job satisfaction that I gained through the success of the marketing campaigns which helped turn around the business.  Besides, seeing the happy faces who come enjoying the Park also add value to my job.   

Worst job you've ever worked in and why? 

Fortunately I haven't got one yet.  Every job has something interesting and I can always gain more knowledge.

Marketing professionals you admire and why? 

I admire those marketing professionals who are able to sustain the brand image of a strong brand like Cathay Pacific, Coca Cola, Sony, etc.  I think brand building is difficult but to sustain a strong brand is even harder.  It is not about doing some thematic advertising but has to drive the company to deliver the brand image you want to project.

Best career advice you've ever been given? 

Be positive & creative.  There's always a way to get around.  Nothing is impossible. 

Why did you choose a career in marketing? 

I majored in Communications in the university and I think Marketing is about how to communicate the right message to the right audience.  Every campaign has its own challenge but I like the creativity of each campaign and I feel very happy each time our target audiences respond to our campaign.   

If you weren't in marketing what would you be? 

I would be a travel planner or a wedding planner.  Both are planning happy occasions for others. 

How do you wind down? 

Try some new restaurants, go to a good movie or talk to my two years old daughter.
