Korea - Cheil Worldwide was the only Korean agency to win at the Cannes Lions 2008 festival by bagging a bronze and silver award.
Art director Seokjin Shin and Joong Sik Choi, a student from Hallym University, bagged a silver for Cheil Worldwide in the Cyber Young Lions Competition, while its campaign 'Plus To Your Life - Homeplus' for Samsung Tesco was awarded a bronze in the Outdoor Advertising category.
The last time Cheil Worldwide grabbed an award from the Cannes Lions was more than 11 years ago in 1997 and 1991 for gold and silver awards respectively.
