Singapore - StarHub has, over the past two weekends, launched a series of guerilla events themed "The grass is always greener on our side'.
The guerilla campaign was conceptualised by Kult and kicked off with a competition where consumers were encouraged to submit photos via MMS of numbers which they had turned green. Balloons and green ice cream in honeydew or peppermint flavours were distributed to the public across 20 locations to spread the message 'Your weekend is that much better with StarHub'.
A roadshow was also launched where StarHub "chill-out zones" complete with cushioned seats, massage chairs and refreshments were set up at the Suntec Galleria foyer for tired shoppers. Free internet was also provided and goodie bags were handed out to top-perofrmers at the mini-football booth.
"At a time where competition was key, it was a great moment for StarHub to show how it still wanted to make life better for everyone with our green guerilla initiatives. We literally put StarHub's green signature everywhere," Linda Na, new media manager at Kult, said.
