Vizeum's Cheam to Ogilvy

Malaysia - Ogilvy & Mather has hired former Vizeum Malaysia head of connections Jeremy Cheam to lead the agency's CIMB business unit in Malaysia starting next month.

Cheam will report to MD Blake Delandro although both Cheam and Delandro would not comment on the news.

Marketing reported about Cheam's imminent departure from Vizeum in May and, at the time, he said he would remain in the digital marketing business. He has been at Vizeum for two years and was the steward to the agency's proprietary "Motivation to Media" research and communications planning technique. He has also been heading the digital media and business development portfolios for the company.
