Singapore - Invensys Process Systems (IPS) has hired Comverse's Sherie Ng as marketing VP for the APAC region.
In her new role, Ng's responsibilities include strategic planning, research and intelligence, marketing and business development strategies, communications programs, demand generation (business and market development), solutions marketing and media and analyst relations across the region.
"Sherie has an impressive track record of successful global brand transformation and growing regional businesses across various technology verticals. Her vast experience demonstrated through previous senior leadership and regional marketing roles positions her as an invaluable asset and a key driver of IPS' growth and expansion in Asia," Lawrence Wee, the newly appointed president for IPS APAC said.
Before her stint at Converse, Ng was SingTel's director for brand experience until her departure in February this year. She was a senior figure at the company reporting directly to CEO Allen Lew and one of her first tasks was handing the review of SingTel's creative business which went from 20-year-long incumbent Young & Rubicam (Y&R) to BBDO in mid-January.
