Hong Kong- As part of Turner Entertainment Networks Asia's (TENA) aggressive interactive development strategy, the company has added Don Anderson as senior manager, sponsorship ad promotions for interactive media.
He reports directly into Benjamin Grubbs who joined Turner from eBay as regional director for interactive media at TENA in March this year.
Based in Hong Kong, Anderson will be responsible for driving efforts to build and maximise revenue for Cartoon Network, POGO, Turner Classic Movies, Boomerang and HBO India on the interactive level through advertising based programs as well as new revenue streams such as e-commerce and other fee-based services.
"Our vision has always been to establish TENA as an entertainment superbrand, integrating ourselves into as many different activities and levels of lifestyle of our consumers as possible," said Grubbs.
Grubbs said the company is looking to expand its portfolio of brands and find ways for consumers to engage with these brands on as many platforms as possible anytime, anywhere.
"The online platform provides the best opportunity to be in the thick of this direct conversation and the Interactive Media team is well-placed to aggressively expand our role in the digital landscape," he said.
"The team's combined experience in all aspects of digital media will be crucial in helping TENA deepen and broaden our online offerings and extend the community and markets that we can engage.
Prior to TENA, Anderson was marketing & communications manager for luxury publisher 3cm media.
Meanwhile, TENA confirms that Vivek Krishnani, executive marketing director has left the media company last week.
