Hong Kong - With 40% business growth on the cards for this year, the Havas-owned MPG has made a number of senior promotions to its Hong Kong and China offices.
Grace Yao, MPG's regional business director, has been promoted to GM for MPG Hong Kong. She attracted clients like Cadbury and Maurice Lacroix since she joined the group.
The Beijing and Shanghai offices, the group has also promoted Anna He and Kang Shi business directors from planning director positions.
In addition, Suzette Morgan, previously stationed in South Africa, the Middle East, the UK, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, has been appointed as director of strategy & insights for the Shanghai office. She has 15 years experience in marketing, PR, and strategic planning.
The group has also hired Aemi Jing from Zenith Media as media buying director in Beijing.
Building the business from scratch last year, MPG Greater China has now grown its team to 85 media professionals across Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Paul McNeill said it takes time for any company to build brands and trust with clients. He added team expansion can empower the brand and people.
