Taiwan - Aquent has opened an office in Taiwan and appointed Momoko Kang, who recently transferred from its Shanghai office, as area manager for Taiwan.

The Taipei office is Aquent's 71st across 18 countries. Greg Savage, international CEO for Aquent, said, "It is the latest addition to Aquent's Greater China Region, which since 2002 we have grown to four offices across Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong."

"Taiwan is a very important location for us," Duncan Cunningham, regional director for Greater China, said. "As one of the major markets in the region it was important we cemented our presence there to support our existing international and regional clients in Taiwan and to provide opportunities for Taiwanese talent and companies alike.

Prior to joining Aquent, Kang worked in Taipei across a range of industries including staffing, private equity and logistics.
