Poh Heng makes movie debut

Singapore - Poh Heng Jewellery enters the movie sponsorship arena with celebrated local director Royston Tan's latest film, "12 Lotus".
The jeweller has created the Dragonfly pendant, which will be featured in various key scenes as a central theme and object in the film.
"Tan's movies are simple yet endearing, tailored to the local audience - similar to the kind of jewellery that Poh Heng likes to create. Our association with a prominent local movie should serve to reaffirm our status as a leading jeweller while leveraging on our expertise in quality and craftsmanship to create distinctive designs, " Chng Seng Mok, chairman & CEO of Poh Heng Jewellery, said.
There will be no replicas made for sale. The original Dragonfly necklace used in the film will not be sold but will be showcased in Poh Heng stores in August 2008.
Poh Heng did not disclose how much the contract was worth, or its duration.
