IM now available for StarHub customers

Singapore - StarHub has partnered with Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger, integrating instant messaging with a mobile platform that will allow mobile customers to access the IM services on their mobile phones.

The service will be available later in June 2008. StarHub's Chat Anywhere service enables customers to enjoy real-time, unlimited access to their existing IM accounts on Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger from their mobile devices.

Anil Nihalani, head of mobile services, StarHub, said, "IM services are very popular among our customers, who use the service to keep in touch with their contacts from home, at the workplace, and increasingly, would like to do so on the go. With this new service, we are excited to bring the desktop IM experience to the mobile phone".
