Eight lands Moksha8 expansion brief
Published: Jun 11, 2008
Hong Kong - Pharmaceutical group Moksha8 has set "aggressive" expansion plans through Asia and internationally, hiring Eight Partnership as its brand development and communications agency.
The drugs firm, with corporate offices in Hong Kong, launched in December 2006 with money from the Texas Pacific Group. The company has since raised financing from other private equity group and announced strategic partnerships with the likes of Roche and Pfizer.
Moksha8 will look for growth in emerging markets, which many of the big pharmaceutical group's tend to neglect, by striking licensing deals for branded drugs.
The initial Roche and Pfizer portfolios consist of more than 20 products, including Neurontin, Lexotan, Zoloft and Bactrim.
Eight Partnership has been assigned to help Moksha8 articulate its brand strategy and positioning within the global pharmaceutical category and execute its corporate identity and brand communications.
