Cran joins Adidas in regional role

Singapore - Adidas has hired Dave Cran, general manager of Marks & Spencer Malaysia, as its director of retail for South East Asia.

Cran started with Adidas on 2 June and has a remit to oversee Adidas' retail development and retail strategy in SE Asia, together with the teams in the following five countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. He reports to Michael Binger, MD, SE Asia.

Christine Choi, GM for Marks & Spencer, Singapore and River Island, has taken on the extended responsibility of heading the British retail-chain in Malaysia. She has passed on her duties as GM for River Island to Loo Wei Wei, head of River Island.
