Global - Former TBWA\ Singapore creative partner, Parag Tembulkar has moved from Publicis West in the US back to the TBWA\ network as European CD at its Paris office working on the Nissan account.
In his new role he reports to the agency's president and ECD, Erik Vervrogen.
Tembulkar, who left the region and TBWA\ in late 2005, told Marketing that although a return to Asia could "never ever" be ruled out, his ambition was "to travel around the world and work with the best people and do the best work".
"At some point, my travel may come full circle back to Asia. Perhaps I am delaying it. When and if it does come, I'd like to start afresh... and work with the brave new face of Asia. For now, I'm learning French," he said.
Tembulkar spent six years in Singapore and most of it was with BBH Asia-Pacific where he worked on the Levi's and Axe accounts. He was also ACD at Ogilvy Mumbai.
"It's not just fashionable to say how happening Asia is and how it's the next thing, having lived on the other side I've realised it's also very true. The exciting future is in Asia because no one exactly knows what will happen but everyone swears that something exciting will surely happen," he said.
