Hong Kong - OgilvyPR has further extended its relations with The Venetian Macau after winning a pitch to help launch Cirque du Soleil's first resident show ZAIA in Asia and securing the resort hotel business of the new Cotai Strip.
OgilvyOne, which is part of Cirque du Soleil's creative team since last year, will work with Montreal-based Sid Lee (Cirque du Soleil's partner agency) to develop the campaign for ZAIA.
The combination cost of show creation and the custom-built theatre for ZAIA is in excess of US$150 million, according to Cirque du Soleil.
"We are please to partner with Cirque du Soleil and their partners to bring the spectacular Zaia to the Venetian Macau at the Cotai Strip. The creativity and energy of Cirque du Soleil is an inspiration to us all," Sean Rach, MD of OgilvyOne Hong Kong, said.
The new Cirque du Soleil theatre will be located on the Cotai Strip and is being created by the Las Vegas Sands Corporation.
