Malaysia - ‘Soft' touches personalise small businesses and sets them apart from their bigger counterparts, said Karthi Palanisamy, managing director from Crush Communications, at the recently concluded Branding & Marketing Forum.
During his presentation, Branding for Small Businesses, Palanisamy said small businesses need to identify their audiences and determine what best describes their business.
He added that beyond the traditional how-tos of branding, any form of communication be it email, DM or a postcard, is an effective way of branding the business.
He said that small businesses benefit from effective marketing materials and communications because it connects them to their clients.
Palanisamy has more than 20 years of experience in the branding and creative industry, and has been with Crush Malaysia since 2004. He has worked with key clients such as RHB Bank, BRDB, and MIMB Investment.
