Australia - Hill & Knowlton's regional director of technology for Australasia, Myrna Van Pelt will take on an expanded role to develop industry analyst relations initiatives across Asia Pacific.
"Technology analysts are critical influencers who shape the development and roll-out of products, solutions and services in the technology sector. Their views help drive sales, influence stock valuations, and can build or hurt corporate reputations," Joshua Reynolds," global technology practice director for Hill & Knowlton, said.
Van Pelt will continue to be based in Sydney. Reynolds, who was a former Gartner analyst, added that companies need to understand how best to work with analysts as an influential target audience.
"We are able to leverage our excellent relationships with analysts to gain insights which help our clients develop the right offer. This is something where Hill & Knowlton is now looking to build as a critical expertise in APAC markets," he said.
