Singapore - SIA has prohibited employees from writing or posting photographs revolving around their work life in their personal blogs.
According to myPaper, the airline carrier released a set of guidelines on employee blogging and internet usage.
SIA said images of the company's logo, aircraft and trademark, pictures of the company's training facilities or equipment and materials detailing internal work processes, and safety and security measures are not allowed to be published online through their personal pages.
"This is to protect the privacy of customers and staff who will not have consented to their images or interactions with us being published," a spokesperson said.
This is a move taken by SIA after a comment was posted on website, Stomp, which showed SIA employees posing for pictures that appeared on various personal pages such as Facebook.
