Tuesday: Manager: Strategic Sourcing

Role Description:
A world-leading provider of security systems whose name is synonymous with quality, and who put their employee's career high on their list of priorities is looking for a Manager: Strategic Sourcing to be based out of their Asia HQ here in Singapore.

As part of the Asia team, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop strategies to improve overall supplier scorecard performance, including quality, as well as report on supplier performance as required.
• Manage, develop and release RFQ to potential suppliers, and make recommendations to the stakeholders that support product cost targets and supplier diversity initiatives.
• Track and monitor new technology development, and support supplier integration with organisational strategy.

Requirements:
Successful candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree in Purchasing/ Business Management/ Supply Chain Management or related discipline and have at a minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing or supply chain management. Strong business acumen is needed to develop an Asia wide sourcing strategy, and problem solving skills are a must.
