Singapore - The Asian Food Channel's (AFC) head of ad sales and marketing, Deepak Mirpuri has left the company three months shy of a year in the role.
Mirpuri joined AFC in August 2007 to fill the role left vacant following the departure of its former VP of sales and marketing, Debbie Lee, as reported by
Marketing.In a statement issued to
Marketing, AFC founder and MD, Maria Brown said Mirpuri's role had yet to be filled but the company was looking to hire a person with sales and marketing knowledge to work inline with the growth of the channel to drive sales and continue the progress AFC had been making. The channel had recently been added to
StarHub's new Basic Group - Lifestyle.
Mirpuri confirmed he had "moved on" from the channel to take a "short break" while he assessed his next options.
