Ong fills MediaCorp Publishing MD position

Singapore - MediaCorp appointed Zita Ong, previously regional sales and marketing director for ACP magazines, as the managing director of its publishing business.

Ong replaces Pang Siew Moi, who has taken a leave of absence - Pang will return shortly to undertake a different portfolio.

With more than 15 years of publishing experience, Ong was instrumental in the launches of several leading magazines in Asia and was responsible for growing advertising revenue consistently year on year during her stint at ACP Magazines. She will officially join MediaCorp on 16 June.

Ong said, "I am delighted to be appointed as managing director of Mediacorp Publishing. This is an exciting time in media and I look forward to combining my magazine publishing experience with the multi media platforms of MediaCorp."
