Singapore - Tiger Aviation Group has promoted Tiger Airways chief commercial and marketing officer, Rosalynn Tay to the position of MD replacing Chris Ward who relocated to Australia to manage its Australia operations.
"It has been an enriching experience to be a part of the Tiger Aviation Group, during which Tiger Singapore expanded aggressively across Asia and Australia, and we successfully established Tiger Airways Australia. The Singapore operations have been the backbone of the Tiger Airways Group and I'm honoured to now be at its helm," Tay said.
She will report directly to Tiger Aviation Group CEO Tony Davis, and oversee the operations and development of its operational base at Singapore's Changi Airport. The promotion is in line with the Group's plans to support its growth strategy for its various airline units across the Asia Pacific region.
Tiger Aviation has also appointed a new chief financial officer Chin Sak Hin who will join the Group in June 2008.
