Hong Kong - McCann-Erickson Guangming has won the Happy Harbour Shenzhen business, a RMB$10 billion investment under Overseas Chinese Town Group (OCT).
Ogilvy and Leo Burnett were also shortlisted in the pitch.
Alexis Chiu, business director of McCann-Erickson, said its priority for now is to conduct market research before launching any strategic and communication planning.
The second phase of the campaign will be the focus on drawing in potential tenants and building partnerships at Happy Harbour through all kinds of branding exercises and media channels including print ads, outdoor and TVCs.
