CASBAA membership increases,again
Hong Kong - Six more organizations have joined the Cable & Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA), taking its membership base to 130 groups.
SNL, US-based research specialist, TRACE, European broadcaster, Conax Access System, Scandinavian content security solutions provider, Indusind Media & Communications, India-based broadband & multi-system operator Telkomvision, Indonesian pay-TV platform operator and BEE MediaSoft, Hong Kong-based digital and interactive TV services provider are counted as the new corporate members of CASBAA.
Simon Twiston Davies, CASBAA CEO, said all CASBAA members seek to be more engaged with multiple pay TV platforms such as mobile, online, TV and other interactive merdiums, to foster the growth of China's media network.
He added that with clients media investment in Europe and the US slowing, Asian has the opportunity to grow and benefit from global practices.
