Korea - Cheil Worldwide has won gold in the outdoor (single) category for its Samsung Tesco 'Home Plus' work at the 2008 One Show Awards.
The campaign launched at one of Seoul's busiest subway stations, and showcases wholesale products for the everyday consumer on free standing columns in the subway station. Since the launch of the outdoor campaign, retail sales figures have achieved 550% sales through.
The creative team behind the concept was led by Lee Yoo-shin, creative director at Cheil Worldwide. The objective of the outdoor creative concept was to offer a personalised wholesale shopping experience for consumers, at the same time linking the innovative method of retail selling with the Home Plus brand.
