Role Description:
The regional coverage will include:
- Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam
- Working with Local HR, Regional Biz Managers and Country Managers to identify talent and core employees for succession planning
- Develop people development programmes to build the talent pipeline for succession planning
- Develop customized leadership training & development roadmaps and programmes for key talents
- Manage the career & development paths of Professional Associates (underwriting trainees); Work with respective Country HRs and Line Managers to retain and engage them positively
- Partner with US Office, Hong Kong Office, Country HRs and Regional AIG Trainers to develop and implement higher level training programmes in the region.
- Lead and facilitate Training programs (stand-up training) but to the key/core employees as the main participants
- Further develop the competencies of the Country HR teams
Requirements:
- Ability to build good engagement with both the Country Managers, Regional Business Managers and Local HR Heads
- Average 8 to 11 years of HR experience and at least 6 years in HRD/Training - Good Knowledge of HR Development (Talent identification and development)
- Good Training Delivery Skills - Good Communication and facilitation skills
- Exposure to Best Practices on Talent Development (worked in established MNCs with sound HRD/Training processes)
- Good Career Coaching knowledge and skills
- Constantly review and establish efficient and value added HRD processes
- Ability to research, plan & deliver new training programs
- Mandarin speaking ability will be ideal (for Taiwan purposes)
