Singapore - Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore was the only local agency to win a Gold accolade at the 49th annual Clio Awards 2008 while Singapore was recognised with 17 Clio awards.
The Gold was for Saatchis 'Lounge' work for Wonderbra in the print category. The agency also walked away with four silver and five bronze Clios. Ogilvy & Mather Singapore was the second highest-awarded local agency, scoring four Clios. TBWA\Tequila Singapore took home a silver and a bronze Clio while Young & Rubicam Singapore won bronze in the poster category, under the sub-category of retail stores.
Across network offices, Ogilvy & Mather was awarded the most gold Clios tonight with five (three for Frankfurt, two for New York), followed by four gold Clios for BBDO Worldwide (two each for Colenso BBDO and BBDO New York) and DDB Worldwide (one each for Johannesburg, London, Berlin and Amsterdam). Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide's second gold Clio came from its New York office.
No Gold Clios were awarded in this year's 'Poster' and 'Direct Mail' categories.
