Motorola expands Ogilvy role

Global - Motorola has expanded its relationship with Ogilvy Worldwide, and named the agency as lead global creative AOR for the company's Mobile Devices business.

Ogilvy, which currently manages the Mobile Devices account in Asia Pacific, India and Latin America, now adds responsibilities in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as North America.

"Motorola is focused on building global brand equity through the authentic consumer experiences our products deliver. O&M combines a global perspective with an innate understanding of this brand's pioneering spirit in the industry. As we look to the future that experience, coupled with fresh thinking, will be a critical part of the brand's development," Erick Soderstrom, VP of global brand marketing for Motorola Mobile Devices business said.

Ogilvy was first awarded the global Motorola account in 2000, launching an integrated campaign with the tag line 'Intelligence Everywhere' and the famous 'HelloMoto' tag.
